Community Focus of Our Public Private Partnership (PPP) Programs in Laos

Local and Indigenous Farmers and Producers

These indigenous farmers are working very hard for slash-and-burn farming on mountains. This type of farming method destroys forest.  But it yields quite low, quantity & quality are not sufficient to sell in the market for profit. Our PPP Programs focus on facilitating establishment of highly profitable community-based sustainable agroforestry & other sustainable businesses and efficient value-chain systems to improve local livelihoods & economy and conserve environment & forests.

Local and Indigenous Traders

These smart and hardworking indigenous women in Samouay Highland (Salavan Province, Laos) are carrying their products to sell in the market which is quite challenging due to poor processing, transportation and marketing facilities. Our PPP Programs focus on facilitating development of efficient value-chain systems with good processing, transporting and marketing facilities for such local & indigenous traders.

Local and Indigenous Women

These indigenous mountain women are collecting gravels from the Sepone River in Samouay Highland (Salavan Province, Laos). Wages are very low, so they work quite hard to fight poverty and raise their children. Our PPP Programs focus on facilitating such hardworking women to improve their livelihoods.

Local and Indigenous Youths

These indigenous mountain girls in a remote mountain village in Samouay Highland (Salavan Province, Laos) usually husk rice and cook meals in the morning, and then go to school. Our PPP Programs in Laos focus on facilitating such hardworking youths to improve their livelihoods.
